What are the lead times?

As these are handmade items, we can’t just take them off the shelf and send them out. Once we have all your info and the order is placed we aim to get them to you in 10 working days, busier periods may vary though and could be closer to 15.

I don’t live in the uk, can you ship to me?

Yes we can send to anywhere in the world but the cost of shipping will have to be calculated per customer and confirmed by you before we proceed with the order. Please contact us for a quote.

Are they reversible?

Our covers are designed and made to go in a specific place and are not reversible.

How are windscreen covers held in place, I don’t have any exposed metal?

The windscreen covers are held in place with the help of the sun visors and in some cases a small tab of Velcro. They are made from a slightly more rigid insulting product meaning they are a much stiffer item and support there own weight.

Are your covers suitable for year round use?

If you are looking for year round use we would recommend purchasing the K2 thermal option, we class these as our 4 season cover, if you are a fair weather camper the Eiger might suit you better. We class the Eiger as our 2/3 season cover.

Do they come in different colours?

No not at this time.

Can you make bespoke size covers?

Yes we can, although they will be limited to square or rectangular shapes due to the complexities and curves of more complicated windows, where templates would need to be made.

What do I do if I received the wrong item?

We will apologise, and send you the correct item. However we will ask for the incorrect item to be sent back and we will arrange and pay for a courier to collect from you.

I have carpet lined my metal, will the magnets still work?

Yes the rare earth n48 magnets are strong enough to attach through any carpeted metalwork.

I have a rear view mirror, will they fit?

These are handmade to your specific needs, so rear view mirrors, dash cams, reverse cameras can be incorporated into your windscreen cover at no extra cost.

How do I clean my window covers?

We recommend a basic multi surface wipe will clean most things off very effectively. You need to avoid using spirit based products like, white spirit, turps, methylated spirits as this will break down the fabrics integrity.

Where do I stand if I need to return an item/order?

Returns are welcome 14 days from ship date at the customers expense. Returns need to be sent back in complete packaging in an unused condition. If the return is made in less than this condition, a restock fee will be deducted from the refund provided. In the scenario a mistake or a manufacturing defect is found, Eyesopen VanGear will cover the return shipping costs. Please contact us via email to make arrangements.
